This is my “ahem, cough, cough” second attempt at blogging, but I swear I’m going to keep it up this time!
I love books, and all things book related, but I have basically no one in my personal life to share and discuss books with. So I have been thinking about and wanting to do a bookish blog for a while. No better time than now!
But first: Introductions!
My name is Ashley and I have been a reader for as long as I can remember. It is such a great way to experience new things, travel to places you have never been, and to destress! It is my go to when I am feeling overwhelmed (which has been most of my life currently, but that is a story for another time). In my professional life, I am a hairstylist, and I have been for 13 years. I love it and can’t think of anything else I’d rather do (unless it involved book and/or reading for a living).
For the time being, I am going to upload twice a week, ease my way in to being consistent. Mondays will be any topic, such as currently reading, my favorite genres, most anticipated, etc. Whatever tickles my fancy. On Thursdays will be a book review. If you are looking for a book for the weekend, I got you covered!
Lastly, please be patient with me, This is a work in progress, and there may be changes, mostly with the estatics. But I can guarantee you the content you will be getting is 100% me!
